AH! Guys! It’s been a whole entire year since the blog launched! Since it’s a celebration, I decided to wear all of my favorite things together! Yes – monograms, floral prints, sequins, big sunglasses, pink, navy, stripes, Kate Spade idiom bracelets, BOWS – it’s all there! I literally just CANNOT believe it’s my 1 year anniversary. I’ve learned so much in this past year. I could talk for hours about all I’ve learned about Photoshop, having a website, SEO, photography, social media, blogging, PR, marketing, etc! But, I think that by far the most important thing that I’ve learned is that if you really and truly (with all your heart) believe in something (and believe that it can serve others in some way), that you should never give up on that “something.” For me, that “something” has been this blog! I am so grateful for you all – for every single one of you who visit this site, follow along on social, comment/like, and encourage me! I feel so incredibly blessed that I have been able to continue styling every week while working for an organization that means so much to me, FOCUS! I never take a day for granted.
The blog is not only my happy place to share styling tips, it’s a place where I get to share the stories of amazing women, and the empowering women features that I’ve done this year have given me the GREATEST JOY EVER! Meeting and photographing the most amazing women and learning from their words of advice has been one of the most fulfilling experiences for me – from start to finish. I’ve gained new friends, learned from them, and learned from their journeys. I hope that you, too, feel like you’ve gained some real knowledge and life lessons from these fabulous women!
Speaking of fabulous women, it’s INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’S DAY! I’d like to celebrate ALL the amazing women out there who have inspired me today! What women have inspired you!? Even though we’re celebrating today specifically, I aim to celebrate amazing women each month on the blog who empower us all to achieve our greatest goals. Personally, I’ve gained more inspiration from these women than I ever thought possible! These women and this blog have been such a HUGE blessing in my life and I hope that you feel a greater sense of inspiration and happiness, too, each time that you leave the site. In a lot of ways, I cannot remember what my life was like without the blog (lot’s of free time? dates? happy hours? I can’t remember!). I also can’t IMAGINE what it would be like without it now. Every little sacrifice has been worth it. Thank you for following along on this creative journey of mine. Your love and support mean the world – you have NO idea!
“Women are leaders everywhere you look—from the CEO who runs a Fortune 500 company to the housewife who raises her children and heads her household. Our country was built by strong women, and we will continue to break down walls and defy stereotypes.” ~ Nancy Pelosi

P.S. Sometimes I’m a little clueless when it comes to makeup! Big thanks to my sweet friend Ty from Laura Mercier and all of her help and guidance! She provided me with the most wonderful primer and foundation which really made my skin GLOW for this shoot! Love ya, Ty!
