~ What I remember about this morning on the vineyard we visited is tasting more wine than we had planned and laughing A LOT. When we got down to this dock, there was a foreboding sign: “Beware of snapping turtles and snakes”….I’m serious. Of course, this only made us laugh harder as we proceeded on.
This look has some of my FAVORITE combinations…stripes, monograms, texture, pearls, tortoise shell….it was definitely my fall uniform this year! I wear this Barbour vest pretty much all year long and it’s a staple for me! It really helps tie everything together, plus, it’s v-necked which I like because it allows me to layer with collared shirts and scarfs. These Frye boots were my first big wardrobe investment purchase out of college (SO worth it) and I’m just as in love with them now, worn-in and full of memories, as I was the day I bought them!
Maya Angelou (who I LOVE so much in every way) once said, “I don’t trust anyone who doesn’t laugh.” The quote itself kind of makes me giggle as I imagine her saying it, but seriously, Maya! My favorite memories of all time are centered around uncontrollable laughter….and that day on the vineyard with my friend, Kelsey, was full of it!
