~ Let me just say that this is one season that it seems every dress I am loving is WHITE. This would be totally fine, except for the fact that a) I spill everything, and b) I actually NEED dresses to wear TO weddings and am a true follower of the cardinal rule (no white at weddings)! This dress is a perfect shade of blush (even a bit pinker in real life) and is just perfect to wear to a spring/summer wedding! I’m finally starting to accept that the sizes that fit me best are actually all petites…and so this little number is a petite and fits like a glove. However, whether you are petite or not, the fit of this dress is incredibly flattering and I’m loving the feminine lace detail! I’m ready to be a blushing wedding guest and catch the bouquet! (bride friends, please aim for me?)
This statement necklace adds a pop of color and fun to the look! Do you all know what Trend Tribe is? I’m such a big fain of the concept behind their brand! Trend Tribe is an amazing and affordable brand with a philanthropic focus. Trend Tribe helps college students get their foot in the door of the Fashion Industry by being campus ambassadors for the brand (aka “trendsetters”!). Each trendsetter gains valuable experience needed to land their first job or internship and gives a portion of their trunk show sales to a philanthropy of their choice! How AMAZING is that?! I had to work really hard to get my foot in the door. Big thanks to Staci Sturrock, the Fashion Editor of the Palm Beach Post, for allowing me to shadow her and help on shoots as a freshman. But, I’ll never forget how hard it was to find a way to gain real experience in the industry so that I could land my dream internship at Lilly Pulitzer when I was old enough. I just love what Trend Tribe is doing and wish they had been around when I was in college! Head on over to their website to shop and be sure to share their message with all of the college students you know hoping to get involved in fashion!
Gratefully with love,
