~ There’s something SO special about this place ^ (Martha’s Vineyard)! I know I say it all the time, but every year, during that first trip of the season, I seem to always forget JUST how SPECIAL it is. It’s my happy place (tied with Indian Harbor, of course). This past trip up was extra special, because I got to share it with my parents and spend Mother’s Day on the Vineyard with my mommy! You know I’ve been trying to do “Highs and Lows” (as per FOCUS tradition) for each trip, but I honestly think there might be too many highs to list! I’m just going to leave you with my top “high”… On my second to last morning, I walked to my favorite beach in the world, Lambert’s Cove. It’s rare (even when I go super early in the summer) for me to be the ONLY one on the beach, but it happened! It was beautiful and sunny and even though I’m not really very good at having meaningful “quiet time,” I think I succeeded! It was amazing.
I’m LOVING this Hayden Reis wristlet, which was designed in collaboration with one of my favorite blogs, Palm Beach Lately! The banana leaf print is so cute and it’s small enough that you can run errands with it on your wrist (or dance with it on your wrist when you’re out at night…), but big enough that it fits all the essentials! I also love the big tote version, which you can get monogrammed! Hayden Reis’ bags are mostly made out of sailcloth…and you know that sailing is one of my favorite things to do! I’ve actually been using one of my Hayden Reis wristlets most recently to keep my phone and a few essential items in during sailing practice (team racing just started and it’s been so much fun!). It’s great because I can run up to the club for a drink or dinner after and the wristlet is the perfect accessory!
Have you all caught on to the whole off the shoulder thing? I’m having an “OH MY GOSH WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN ALL MY LIFE” moment…with all of my new off the shoulder tops. Every. Single. One. Woops. This off the shoulder striped top is one of my new favorites because there is a little built in smocked lining that hits right under your bra (or sticky boobs…whatever strikes your fancy with these amazingly wonderful tops). The lining keeps it in the perfect place, which is key! Also, I’m such a complete sucker for stripes, and the striped pattern on this is so classic! And this top is so affordable…at $30 it will make a statement but won’t break your wallet. It’s also perfect for this upcoming Memorial Day Weekend!
Do you have any fun plans this weekend? Comment below and tell me if you do, I wanna know! I’ll be heading to ITALY with my mommy on Wednesday for a few days. I can’t wait!
Ciao Bella,
