~ THIS TUNIC DRESS IS SO GOOD! Oh my goodness. The moment I spotted it at my favorite Lilly store (Lilly Ardmore!) I pretty much fell head over heels in love with it. From the mirrored pom pom ties on the front to the bell sleeves…it’s a fun one to wear! Unfortunately, I waited a bit too long to share this one and it’s sold out at Nordstrom and on the Lilly site! However, I found it here in a XS, S, and a M (it runs big!) and here in XXS! I’ve also linked up to a few new favorites that just hit the Lilly site for Spring below!
The BIG EXCITING NEWS is that next Tuesday, the 20th (the first day of spring!) I am hosting a style event with Lilly Pulitzer Ardmore from 3-7 PM! It’s going to be a blast and there will be sips and snacks and I will be there to help style you! Not that you all can’t style yourselves (of course!), but since this is what I do for my day job AND my favorite brand in the world is Lilly, I’d love to help you find pieces that fit your body perfectly and make you feel the most confident. Also…sometimes shopping is more fun with cocktails (and when you make it a party?!)!
I loved this shoot with Madison in Annapolis at the Naval Academy! Madison totally has a way of making everyone she shoots feel super comfortable and you can SO see that I was able to loosen up and dance around in my Lilly…probably a perfect picture of my personality in real life. Madison completely has the gift of bringing out the best in those she shoots!
This week I’ve been thinking A LOT about how important it is to be around those who make you feel comfortable to be yourself. I love working with the client I’m with this week! I think everyone that is a part of their team brings out the best in me and values me – and that allows me to do my very best work as a stylist! I always think that my biggest strength as a stylist is the bright energy I always try to bring to the set (even when I’m feeling tired myself…it’s not always easy but I try)! I’ve been told the positivity is contagious and that is my HOPE every day! It’s what I strive for. I think that when I am working with people who see that and value that, I tend to excel on a greater level (maybe I am more creative? even better focused?). I am so grateful for each and every one of them and every morning during my long drive to the studio, I just can’t wait for the day to start and to be on set to create exceptional images with them!
Speaking of being myself…Lilly is a brand I so have always identified with – happy, bright colors, fun prints, celebrating life as though it’s a party! I hope that YOU can join me for at Lilly for a style party next week if you are in the area! I would LOVE to style you!
Gratefully with love,
