Sailboat Shift!

~ Oh my GOODNESS gracious do you need this sailboat shift from Lilly Pulitzer! Guess what?! It’s STRETCH fabric…meaning it’s a bit less structured than your classic Lilly shift. I think the soft, breathable, stretchy blend makes it PERFECT for those weddings and graduations that are set in warm locations in May and June! It’s also a perfect “wear every day” dress since it’s just so darn comfortable and wearable. There is a pretty gold zipper in the back and it’s RACER BACK (which has been my favorite style lately)! I picked this up while visiting my friends at the Lilly Pulitzer Ardmore store – their team is seriously the HAPPIEST and most wonderful group of women! It’s a good thing they are an hour away because if they were closer….I’d be there all the time and we’d be in BIG trouble!

I always joke with my friends that I love Lilly pieces that are secretly kind of sexy (seriously)! You know…those shifts where the slit goes way to high to the perfect spot! Well, this dress may be appropriate length, but there are hook and eyes in the front and you can go as low as you like! Just saying!

Because I’m so over the moon about this style, I thought it was worth mentioning and showing the 2 other prints it comes in and the navy solid (scroll “Shop My Look” below to see!)! One thing that might be important to mention is that while I’m usually a size 6 in Lilly, this dress is a 4 and I think it runs a little big.

Another thing you need for spring is this Marleylilly crossbody bag with the SCALLOPS! OMG! There’s a zip compartment and a pocket in the front for your phone, too. If you are heading to horse races and steeplechases this spring…THIS BAG IS FOR YOU!

Yesterday, I went to visit the Lilly Ardmore team for an event to benefit Juvenile Diabetes they held with my favorite jewelry designer, Lisi Lerch! It was so wonderful to finally meet Lisi and I was FREAKING OUT over all of the new things at Lilly! IN LOVE! Did you see my IG story?! I tried on the new swim…and they just NAILED the fit. This suit is my favorite and I am probably going to get it!

~ Madison is such a talented girl boss photographer! She has the WARMEST spirit and is one of those photographers that just GETS IT!
