~ I am SO excited to be partnering with a handful of amazing brands in the bridal industry for this #sponsored post! As someone who has been a bridesmaid for so many years and put so much time and heart into my bridesmaid role for each friend, I sometimes forget to truly take time to soak in the excitement of being engaged. It’s MY turn, now – Let’s do this! It was really fun to partner with each of the brands below and if you are a bride-to-be as well, I have a feeling you are going to love learning more about each one!
The Ring Boxes
~ The Ring Boxes is a subscription service for brides-to-be! Can you think of anything more fun and exciting?! Each box was filled with fun (*and useful!) items that add a little extra party to this already special time. If you are a engaged, I can’t recommend this company enough! I don’t know about you, but I love getting surprise packages in the mail…and packages that make you truly feel like a bride are the BEST kind I think! I also really think that these are the BEST gift to give to an engaged friend! You can choose from different packages based on how many months you would like the box to arrive and each box is tailored to your wedding date.
A few of my favorite items in the 3 boxes I recieved: A pair of “Mrs” gold stud earrings, a tumbler and a water bottle that say “Bride,” a pearl “Bride” hair clip, a white silky “Bride”robe for getting ready (*pictured above!), and a super soft “bride” V-neck tee.
I’ll be sharing an unboxing this week on instagram of all 3, so be sure to follow along! Head on over to The Ring Boxes site for more info!
Show Her Off (*dance lessons!)
~ While I TOTALLY love and appreciate all couples who dare to choreograph their first dances, Matt and I felt like that wasn’t the best fit for us (*we knew a choreographed first dance would 100% stress out 2 perfectionists like us). However, we really wanted to brush up on our dancing skills before the big day! My freelance schedule has been pretty wild recently, so it was hard to sign up for an in-person class anywhere, but Hunter’s online Show Her Off dance school was literally perfect for us! You can see a preview of some of his serious dance skills on his instagram page!
Matt and I moved some furniture in our living room when I was back home in Columbus last week and made a little date night out of it! We had Hunter’s personalized video playlist on my laptop, which broke down each dance move for us. His classes are meant for those who don’t have a lot of dance experience – thank goodness for that because I think Matt’s “hula” move and my “shopping cart” are the extent of our dance knowledge LOL. Even for the two of us rookies, we were able to really learn some great moves. *Update: We used 2 of our moves on the dance floor last night at my friend Laura’s wedding! Can’t go wrong with that “infinity loop”… Thanks Hunter!
Risata Wines
~ Did you know that “risata” means “laughter” in Italian? The Italian I learned from my year in Milano is slowly leaving me (*sadly), but that is a word I hadn’t forgotten! It’s perfectly fitting for this fun, sweet, and slightly bubbly wine! Risata’s wine also comes from vineyards in Italy – which also was a pleasant surprise to learn! Matt and I chilled a bottle of their Moscato D’Asti and had a little tasting together…as someone who hasn’t always been a huuuuuge moscato fan….I was wildly and pleasantly surprised! I LOVE IT! It’s just the right amount of sweet…and the bubbles add a perfect finish.
Their wines are perfect for any celebration or occasion. I’ll probably be buying a box of Risata wines for my bachelorette weekend! If you are 21+, you can click on over to their website to learn more about them and find out where to purchase!
Something Borrowed Blooms
~ Ok…in all honesty…this next brand changed the trajectory of our wedding decor. And if you know me…you know this statement is BIG! Getting married in Jamaica was a big decision…and I knew that ultimately to be able to have the wedding the way I wanted to (*to cover all costs for our guests), I would have to sacrifice on some things. One of those things is flowers – the cost of importing flowers (*yep, you have to fly them in) is roughly 10k-25k. I LOVE flowers – but I’m not even sure our beautiful location NEEDS them for that price. I was stuck on what to do about the flowers…until a box from Something Borrowed Blooms arrived at our house.
I opened the box and was BLOWN AWAY. How is it even possible that these flowers are not REAL?! They are stunning and fooled a true flower lover like me! I love that they have so many different color schemes and collections to fit each and every style and aesthetic.
I think carrying a bouquet makes you feel like a bride, and I’m so grateful that I was introduced to Something Borrowed Blooms so that I can have the full bridal experience no matter what location our wedding happens in.
SNOW
~ I have never cared more about my smile or my appearance in general than I do right now as a bride-to-be. I know that might be a little too honest for some…but I just figure, if there’s ever a time where it counts, it’s this one day! I definitely have been attempting to whiten my teeth with both white strips and whitening toothpaste, but neither really worked well for me. After my invisalign, my teeth aren’t quite as white as they once were, however my teeth get really sensitive with white strips and the toothpaste alone doesn’t seem to work for me. SNOW has really changed the game for me! So far, SNOW has blown me away with both the technology it uses and the swiftness of how fast it has started to work.
It’s a really easy process: First you brush your teeth, then use one of their whitening wands to paint on a special formulated gel, then you put in a special LED mouthguard that is powered by plugging into your phone, and then after 10-30 minutes, you rinse! Easy as pie!
It’s also so easy to take anywhere and takes up minimal space in my travel bag, which is awesome for a freelancer on-the-go like me! I can’t wait to keep using and share the final results!
I’ll be sharing more throughout the week on all of the brands above over on Instagram! Thanks for joining along on this exciting time of life!
Gratefully with love,
