~ I could talk forever about how much I sincerely love VT! I love my friends who have made ME love VT (and their families)! I love Stratton and the little village. I love how down to earth everyone is. I love how it lets me escape the business of everyday life. I love how beautiful it is! I love my VT casual outfits. But, most of all, it’s been one of the greatest joys ever to teach skiing this year at Stratton and I LOVE it (and my little ski babies and the whole Stratton community!)!
This look is so truly my go-to look for weekends in VT (including my “going out” look….the rare times that has happened this season! haha). I’ve had these Bean Boots since college and they are the Gortex lined version that keep me warm on the coldest days. I always like a fun pop of color and have a bunch of these great J.Crew socks that I mainly have just for my Bean Boots (no shame)! This nano puff Patagonia vest is maybe the most worn thing in my closet! It’s about a size big on me right now, but it works out because I layer it over so many things when I ski. I also wear it a lot to work. It’s light enough to be transitional but warm enough to serve its purpose as a great layer!
For someone who LOVES fashion SO MUCH and literally gets chills flipping through Vogue or watching Fashion Week videos, it’s pretty wild that I feel the prettiest in this kind of outfit. Maybe it’s the cozy feeling I have while wearing it or the fact that “going out” in VT has zero pressure associated with it, unlike going out in the city where I sometimes feel like a fish out of water (I’ll admit it!). I’m just going to try my best to FULLY enjoy every last VT weekend this season…the outfits, the people, the skiing…all of it.
Gratefully with love,

P.S.
Biggest thanks ever to one of my best friends, Meagan, for shooting this look for me! She’s one of those friends that’s SO multi-talented and has been the most supportive and helpful friend in the world in every single one of my endeavors, especially this blog 🙂 Love yoooou, Meagan!
