~ Small note before I share: it’s taken me a little while to sit down and share wedding content. That week was so special and wonderful in so many ways – but parts of the day itself is a little bit hard for both me and Matt to look back on thanks to the torrential rain that surprised everyone. I know that in a years time we will only remember all of the good! But right now, the day (but mostly the ceremony) causes some pain to reflect on. I’m still struggling to find the best words to share this in a way that is honest and also gracious. So, I decided to start by sharing the happiest parts of that week first! Working with the two brands below brought me so much joy, and being surrounded by this group of incredible friends was the biggest gift, and so I felt it was best to start with this post 🙂
First I just have to say the biggest “thank-you” from the bottom of my heart to the teams at both Smith & Quinn and Lisi Lerch for outfitting the most important women in my life! Working with the team at Smith & Quinn was seriously the most fun part of planning this wedding (*I tell that to everyone!) and I can’t wait to share the whole story below! Lisi Lerch earrings and accessories have been a part of so many big moments of my life and I was wearing them when Matt proposed! It was so special to have all of my bridesmaids in Lisi Lerch earrings and it makes me so happy seeing each of them continue to wear their earrings all the time after, too!
Besides these two dream brand partners, I asked my bridesmaids to wear natural or straw wedges or flat sandals and left the rest of their looks up to them. Each of my bridesmaids is so unique and their differences make them beautiful! I wanted each of their individual personalities to show in how they did their hair & makeup as well as the shoes and additional accessories that they chose! They all looked so incredible the day of and I can’t imagine this day without them!
The Dresses
~ The way the collaboration came about was so fun and so organic. I was working in Atlanta while e-mailing back and forth with Smith & Quinn‘s Social and Marketing Director, Lori, about an upcoming blog partnership when I learned that she happened to live in Atlanta! We met for drinks just around the time I was struggling with one question: what should my bridesmaids wear? I always envisioned them in block printed maxi dresses, but when I found my dress (*which was a little busier than I originally planned, eek!), I feared I would have to choose solid dresses. Lori shared that Smith & Quinn made bridesmaids dresses and had been wanting to partner with an influencer and came up with a thought that hadn’t crossed my mind: What if the print was custom and complimented the flowers on my own dress? And just like that, my DREAM wedding partnership was born!
Smith & Quinn quickly became one of my favorite brands after our first partnership back in 2021. I couldn’t believe how absolutely incredible the fabric was – it was soft, breathable, and stretchy like my athletic wear yet it was still so elevated. The most important thing for me was making sure that my bridesmaids felt comfortable and beautiful on my wedding day and I knew that Smith & Quinn’s fabric would absolutely make them all feel that way!
Kaeli, their founder and print designer is truly one of the most talented print designers there is. Each season I am blown away with their unique and absolutely beautiful prints! She truly worked magic with the custom print she created for our wedding. I sent along a tiny little bit of inspiration to give a feel for my wedding vision – the color scheme, the block printed table linens that were being made, the location, and the crest that Leslie from Giddy Paperie designed for us! She created the coolest inspiration board (below) with print options to choose from! We then all hopped on a zoom call to discuss everything. I asked all of my bridesmaids which print was their favorite – I had a clear favorite in mind but if it wasn’t what my bridesmaids had chosen, I would have gladly gone with one of the 3 other beautiful prints. It was really important to me that they had a say in what they wore and that they all liked it too. Luckily, most everyone chose the same print that was my favorite!
~ Next, Smith & Quinn kindly sent along swatches of fabric for us to approve (*so thoughtful and nice!). We ended up going with the lightest color of of the print. Matt and his groomsmen all wore a coordinating pocket square! Smith & Quinn also offers ties and bowties, but I felt that for the location, pocket squares were the best fit!
~ I really love the pop of print against the solid blazer! This pocket square will definitely be worn again by Matt and for sure his groomsmen too!

~ Smith & Quinn has SO many incredible prints included in their wedding line, including the print from our wedding! I also love that they have such a great variety of silhouettes to flatter every body type. I cannot recommend Smith & Quinn bridesmaids dresses highly enough and working with them was truly the best experience I had while wedding planning!
The Earrings
~ I LOVE how well the Lisi Lerch Ginger earrings complimented my bridesmaid’s dresses! This style is classic Lisi Lerch and comes in so many different versions that would be perfect for weddings of all seasons: metal, beaded, acrylic, and straw (which is the style I chose!) My bridesmaids have also been sending me photos in them telling me how much they love them – they really go with everything! For my nieces, who were my mini-maids-of-honor, I chose something a bit more age appropriate and chose the Mini Maggie earrings, which looked so beautiful on them!
If you are still thinking about bridesmaids gifts, I think Lisi Lerch earrings are absolutely perfect! They are timeless and styles that can be worn again and again. I ended up wearing the Lisi Lerch Margo earrings that I had owned for almost 5 years for my Rehearsal look! This brand will always hold a special spot in my heart and I feel so honored that they were a part of my wedding day.
Thanks for sharing in our joy from afar!
Gratefully with love,
